The Nicotine Addiction and Tobacco Use Treatment Initiative (NATTI) is a global collaboration dedicated to enhancing the capacity of health professionals and institutions to address tobacco and nicotine dependence through evidence-based education, policy engagement, and coordinated networks.
NATTI is spearheaded by the Center for International Cooperation on Tobacco Control of the Ministry of Public Health of Uruguay and The Addiction Training for Health Professionals Program at the Frank Foundation.
Tobacco use remains one of the leading causes of preventable death worldwide. In many regions, health professionals lack structured training in tobacco dependence treatment, limiting access to effective cessation services.
